Big Group? The More the Merrier.

Point Break Surf School can accommodate large groups, wedding parties, and families while still ensuring that each surfer gets the attention and direction they need. With larger groups, we maintain a 4 to 1 student / instructor ratio.

Got Kids? Perfect.

We love “little rippers”! Our surf instructors will give your kids two hours of pure fun with an emphasis on safety. And, we even have a learning surfboard designed to help kids catch their first waves. Check out our surfing lessons with kids video.

At Point Break Surf School, safety is our number one priority. We maintain a strict 4:1 student / instructor ratio and all of our instructors are CPR / first aid certified.

Playa Grande. Perfect Place to Learn to Surf.

All of our classes take place at Playa Grande (Guanacaste), where the waves are perfect for learning to surf. The beach is a long stretch of white sand, fringed by palm trees, and is generally uncrowded.

Each Point Break Surf lesson cost:

• $50 per person for surf lessons
• Optional - $15 to ride along and watch your family or friends surf
• Optional - $20 for Point Break Surf Tees
• Optional - $20 for Point Break Surf Tank Tops
• Optional - $30 for Point Break Surf Rash Guards

Each Point Break Surf lesson includes:

• Pick up and drop off from your hotel/accommodation
• 2 hours of lessons
• Surfboard and rash guard
• Iced-cold water
• Fresh local fruit for snack
• Countless stories recapping your successful day

Point Break Surf services all hotels and accommodations in:

• Playa Conchal / Brasilito (incl: Westin)
• Playa Flamingo / Flamingo beach
• Playa Potrero
• Papagayo area (incl. RIU)*
• Hacienda Pinilla / JW Marriott*

*Prices for those staying in Papagayo area and Hacienda Pinilla are higher since these places are farther away. Please contact us for exact price.
